Associate Consultant
Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University (FIU). Arlette founded SIP Group in 2013. She advises companies in the design, development and implementation and monitoring of their sustainable development and sustainability (CSR) strategy, as well as in capacity-building, in order to attain a more sustainable development. In her work, she fosters the effective linkage of CSR and strategic philanthropy programs with national development initiatives. Arlette was a member of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ team that participated in negotiating the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in representation of the Dominican Republic between 2014 and 2015.
Arlette has over 17 years of experience working on sustainable development issues, and expertise in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of social development projects. Arlette has been certified as a Sustainability Consultant by the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE).
Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a master’s degree in Relational Interventions in Emergency Contexts from the Universiità Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, Italy. Davide advises institutions in pedagogic assessment, capacity-building, and in monitoring and evaluation of social programs. Davide has over 10 years of experience in leading non-governmental organizations that implement education, health, human rights and psychology projects in poor communities in the Dominican Republic.
Specialized studies in Development and Climate Change at the University of Rotterdam’s International Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands and in International Relations at the University of Barcelona. Daniel has worked as a human development researcher for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and as a coordinator for the development of an adolescent and youth participation policy for UNICEF. He has acted as an international negotiator by representing the Dominican Republic in world climate change summits, including the Paris Agreement process, and as a focal person for the One UN Training Service Platform for Climate Changewith the National Council for Climate Changeand the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). He currently serves as a consultant for United Nations agencies, private sector companies, as well as for government and community-based organizations on various ecological and climate change initiatives. He has published internationally on issues related to climate change, democratic participation and risk management for the Catalan Institute for Peace in Barcelona, Greenpeace International in Amsterdam, Transparency International in Berlin, as well as for UNDP and UNICEF Latin America.
